 The world’s first self-striking ruby boro! Red Elvis is an “easy striker” and self strikes as it cools but gets a little darker with flame striking or kiln striking. Red Elvis strikes in an oxidizing atmosphere, at a slightly lower temperature than most rubies. Work in a neutral to oxidizing flame.

A 250grm pack containing an average of 6 rods.

What is Second Quality?
This glass came out with some flaws from the production process. Typically, this means a few inclusions in the rod or tube, and usually these can be picked out as you work the glass. Luckily for us we don’t have a lot of seconds, but they can be a great deal for the cost-conscious glass worker.
