Our white opal stars are opaque and flash primarily pink, blue, green, and yellow. The opals are flat on all sides and quite thin, so they are easy to encase. These opals do not require a special annealing cycle like the rough opals do. Just encase, keep warm in the kiln, and incorporate into your work.
Please note: Occasionally we have stars with polished edges. The polishing process rounds the edges of the opal which effects its appearance slightly. Please leave us a comment during check out if you prefer that the edges are polished.
