This is a super little tool with many uses.We originally used these tools to hold very fine silver plated head pins so we could add glass balls and leaves and then these could be wired into tiaras. Since then we have also seen them been used to hold very fine mandrels and even to hold a hot mandrel that had been in the bead door of a kiln and had become too hot to hold.
