Extraction Kit

Designed and supplied by Tuffnell Glass this is a fit anywhere extraction unit & complete with extraction fan , hoses , hood and clips .

This silent extraction kit is a powerful silent and non vibrating unit that can fit on top or below your bench . The kit comes complete with 3mtrs of flexible hose to attach from the galvanised steel hood , 3mtrs of flexible hose to attach to the rear of fan to vent out fumes and the 3 clips needed to join everything together .The fan has a wired plug with its own on /off switch to operate the fan . The fan is powerful enough to extract over 31 ltrs of air per second which is more than powerful enough for a studio in a garage , shed or spare room ,this is 110m3 per hour. Larger fans are available by order and twin /triple units can be designed too.

Cooling Bubbles

Brand New Japanese Cooling Bubbles

Fantastic Japanese cooling bubbles that are used to prolong the cooling process . There are 2 litres in the bag which is enough to fill a biscuit tin , laying the beads into the bubbles after taking from the flame as you work the "bubbles" will surround the bead and cool it much slower than vermiculite and fibre blanket , better for the bead and allowing you to produce much bigger beads without a worry of cracking before they get to the kiln.

This kit enables you to run your Hot Head torch off a bulk cylinder of propane (LPG) gas. Although Mapp gas is the preferred gas for Hot Heads the costs soon start adding up as you get more hooked on Beadmaking. Propane gas available from many garages, welding supplies, camp sites and garden centres is a close alternative to Mapp gas for your Hot Head although burning slightly lower in temperature this is not a major problem. Savings are huge by using propane as a normal 13 kilo cylinder will cost between £12 - £18.00 and will give 100 hours use. This kit contains a 4 bar propane regulator, propane flashback arrestor, 5 mtr of propane hosing and the torch connector.All the kit is joined together and ready to use once you screw the cylinder on one end and the torch on the other.

Next you have to just plug it in to a socket, push the on button and it will beep for a few seconds and you are ready to use it ,the yellow light may stay on but you don't have to worry about that.
