1/8 Kilo of Summer Haze (Ltd Run) CiM Glass Rods, 5-6 rods.

Ltd Run colours are manufactured in extremely small quantities and might not be repeated again so the advice is always to buy as much as you can if you like it.

Summer haze is described as " a yellow misty opal-same hue as Lemongrass"

"The barrel bead is a base of Summer Haze with blown shards of Onyx with Pendragonfyre frit!" See more at Darlene's blog.

"Summer Haze is another gorgeous, unique, misty opal yellow. It’s just a tinge browner than its close cousin, Lemongrass. I love, love, love them both."
Gloria Sevey

"Summer Haze is a yellow misty opal. Experimenting using it as a base and encasing copper foil with Double Helix clear glasses Aether and Zephyr. I added a few drops of silver glass for a bit of added glitter." Read more at Darlene's blog.

"I did have a couple odd reactions with a few of the colors- apparently they didn't like the 1050 garage temp of my kiln and the color went whackadoodle!"
Joy Munshower

"Summer Haze is a really pretty and unique colour, it's the misty opal counterpart to Lemongrass, but it is far more transparent, while keeping a mysterious mistiness quality! Here I've paired it with my own frit blend Coast, going for a rustic beach vibe. There is something special that keeps drawing me towards this colour, and even though I'm automatically drawn towards bright happy colours, I feel that this still achieves the same happiness in a neutral shade. Just look at how the light shines through it! Love!"

"The name of the glass really does sum up what you see. So delicate and pretty - reminiscent of the summer sun beating down and filtering through a camera lens, that soft summer hazy glow you see in photos. Neutral enough to go with so many other colour palettes but beautiful enough to stand alone. Love it."
Juliette Mullett

"This is Summer Haze and Lemongrass. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. A dream to melt, no fussiness or shocking, fabulous for sculpture because it doesn’t mind being heated and reheated. Summer Haze is a misty opal and is slightly more translucent than Lemongrass. No weird reactions to pink, which is nice."
Lori Peterson

"Summer Haze and Lemongrass are very needed! Thank you!"
Olga Ivashina

"Summer Haze is the same hue as Lemongrass but it’s one of CiM’s misty opals so it’s less translucent than Lemongrass. It’s definitely got that opalescent glow to it when the light shines through it. Summer Haze is totally unfussy and a pleasure to work with. The silver core bead here is Summer Haze with CiM Monarch scrolls." Read more at Laura's blog.

“Today I tested Summer Haze- I’m really into this color! It has some of the best opalescent flash of any glass I’ve ever seen. It’s extremely hard to photograph but I think the picture shows what I’m talking about. Bright orange highlights and green undertones. The rod definitely looks more pale than the finished piece does, it seemed to develop more orange color in the kiln. A great ethereal color that I’m very interested in working with further... I don’t feel I’ve discovered all its secrets."
Alexis Berger

"Such pretty glass that I have just made plain beads with them both. The light catches them both beautifully. Summer Haze reminds me of Swarovski Sand Opal crystals! Colours I've not seen before in 104. CiM has spoilt us again! Both of these melted just fine with no pre-heating."
