1/4 Kilo of Alley Cat (Ltd Run) CiM Glass Rods, 12-14 rods

Ltd Run colours are manufactured in extremely small quantities and might not be repeated again so the advice is always to buy as much as you can if you like it.

Alley Cat is described as an "Opaque Orange"

"This is a beautiful colour that is a cross between sunset orange and apricot in its hues. Works tremendously well both solo as well as with being mixed with other colours. My findings were when used on its own it gave a rich apricot hue which you can blush with repeated heat. A fuss free colour that comes with diversity within its range of hues."

”Daffodil and Alley Cat both strike a little, even in spacer-sized beads so you can see some variation across the surface. Alley Cat is exactly the right shade of marmalade for making cats!” Read more at Heather’s blog.

"For this pumpkin, I used Alley Cat, which is a more ocher-toned orange, that tends to be more muted. This makes a more organic looking pumpkin that is perfect for autumn and Thanksgiving themed jewelry." Check out Kandice's tutorial Making Storybook Pumpkin Beads.

"Where the silver touched the bead there is a strong reaction which looks almost bronzish in places and the silver seems to fume areas of Alley Cat adjacent to the silver giving a deeper shade." Read more at Kitzbitz Art Glass' blog.
