Have you ever found it difficult to find a way of making your beads into beautiful jewellery? Come and join the fun on this two day workshop and you can find out how to make some lovely cabochons incorporating dots and spots and daisy swirls. Then learn how to make very simple settings, requiring minimal tools, creating you a fab piece of wearable art. Day one We will be exploring the application of dots, what glass works well, tips on achieving beads that are symmetrical and the many options in terms of design and application. We will then make Cabochons. The morning will be dedicated to dot decorated cabochons and in the afternoon, we will look how to use gravity to create large beautiful mandala style cabochons for pendants. Day Two This morning we can continue what we learnt yesterday and discuss other ways of making cabochons and other designs you can incorporate including murrini application. We will then learn how to make some simple silver settings that can be achieved very easily to mount your makes. You will leave with at least one ring and one pendant at the end of the weekend
