1/8 Kilo of Lemonade (Ltd Run) CiM Glass Rods, 5-6 rods

Ltd Run colours are manufactured in extremely small quantities and might not be repeated again so the advice is always to buy as much as you can if you like it.

Lemonade is described as "a pale yellow misty opal"

Such a pretty pale misty opal colour from CiM. It's a baby sister to Egg White, more translucent with a touch of cloudiness about it. I found that this one liked to be worked a touch cooler, but the results are well worth the patience. Lemonade is a great base, reasonably neutral and a far cry from a boring beige. This worked well with the frit blend and silvered ivory, and etches really well which shows off the colour beautifully! Another winner from CiM!"

"Lemonade is described as a misty opal, it looks to me to be the palest possible shade of yellow and has a lovely cloudy look to it. Another stiff and well behaved glass to work with. Lemonade also does not react with either turquoise or with my handmade Effetre silvered ivory stringer." Read more at Kitzbitz Art Glass' blog.

"Lemonade is a beautiful colour - it’s clear with a hint of misty creaminess. It’s like a misty opal version of CiM Egg White. The rod I had was quite shocky with a couple of big bubbles in it but after I nipped off the end couple of inches I had no more shocky-poppy issues with it. The glass did have a few microbubbles in it but these are nothing terrible. Lemonade goes a really bright yellow while it’s heated which I found amusing and novel. [I’m easily pleased.] Lemonade has a nice level of opal mistiness to it. It’s subtle but it’s there. Lovely glass. The photograph was taken indoors in natural daylight." See more at Laura's tumblr.

"This colour really looks like lemonade! Lovely to work with, I found working higher up the flame works better with this colour, looks lovely just on its own as well as being mixed with other colours. Lemonade would make a wonderful base for a mythical/foggy, ethereal style bead when mixed with frits and swirled."

"These are Lemonade with a little bit of dichroic mixed in. They look like Ethiopian opals! My new favorite!"
